Tmux Capture Pane

Tmux is an amazing program, made more relevant I think in the age of llms. I've been using it for almost 7 years now.

Wanting to provide more context to an llm, I found out you can dump the entire contents of your pane's stdout to a buffer. First, get into command mode with your command key (ctrl + s for me) and then : capture-pane -S <# of lines> save-buffer filename.txt You can then search this or perhaps carefully throw it into an llm's context window.
